چکیده

In this paper, a backscatter cooperation (BC) scheme is proposed for non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) downlink transmission. The key idea to the surplus power of received signals at one user enhance reception who cannot recover its information. To evaluate performance BC-NOMA scheme, three benchmark schemes are introduced, which include non-cooperation (NC)-NOMA conventional relaying (CR)-NOMA and incremental (IR)-NOMA scheme. For all these schemes, outage performance, expected rate, diversity-multiplexing trade-off (DMT) analyzed. Additionally, optimal allocation maximize rate in high signal-to-noise ratio region derived. theoretical results show that can both transmission reliability (outage performance) effectiveness (expected rate) compared with NC-NOMA. Furthermore, representative numerical presented validate results. It shown unlike two relaying-based cooperative (CR/IR-NOMA), improve cost without impairing spectrum efficiency, makes backscattering an appealing solution NOMA downlinks.

Secure Communications in NOMA System: Subcarrier Assignment and Power Allocation

Secure communication is a promising technology for wireless networks because it ensures secure transmission of information. In this paper, we investigate the joint subcarrier (SC) assignment and power allocation problem for nonorthogonal multiple access (NOMA) amplify-and-forward twoway relay wireless networks, in the presence of eavesdroppers. By exploiting cooperative jamming (CJ) to enhance ...

Quality of Service Based NOMA Group D2D Communications

Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) provides superior spectral efficiency and is considered as a promising multiple access scheme for fifth generation (5G) wireless systems. The spectrum efficiency can be further enhanced by enabling device-to-device (D2D) communications. In this work, we propose quality of service (QoS) based NOMA (Q-NOMA) group D2D communications in which the D2D receivers ...

Ambient Backscatter Communications: A Contemporary Survey

Recently, ambient backscatter communications has been introduced as a cutting-edge technology which enables smart devices to communicate by utilizing ambient radio frequency (RF) signals without requiring active RF transmission. This technology is especially effective in addressing communication and energy efficiency problems for low-power communications systems such as sensor networks. It is e...

Achievable information rates of ambient backscatter communications

Ambient backscatter is an intriguing wireless communication paradigm that allows small devices to compute and communicate by using only the power they harvest from radio-frequency (RF) signals in the air. Ambient backscattering devices reflect existing RF signals emitted by legacy communications systems, such as digital TV broadcasting, cellular or Wi-Fi ones, which would be otherwise treated a...

Short-Packet Communications with NOMA for IoT Applications

This work introduces downlink non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) into short-packet communications. NOMA has great potential to improve fairness and spectral efficiency with respect to orthogonal multiple access (OMA) for lowlatency downlink transmission, thus making it attractive for the emerging Internet of Things. We consider a two-user downlink NOMA system with finite blocklength constrai...
